IMHO, overrated, overpriced.
Burger was as good as In n Out. But, at 3+ times the plus it should’ve been much better.Pie was stale & seemed old.
Fries: ours were overcooked, next to us theirs were undercooked.

Yeah, when I was in their last, they were having a big sale on all their wine. I doubt they are gonna do too much too it, the space isn’t that big. But it was a little cramped in there.

The Chronicle is remodeling? That implies that it was “modeled” at some point in the past. I loved the Chronicle and its staff when I lived in Pasadena, but if any place was a “hole in the wall”, that was it. I hope it doesn’t end up “Disney-fied”.

I was never a big fan of Pie-n-Burger. I preferred the nearby Pete’s Grandburger (now defunct) where you could get a good burger (with chili), fries, and a drink for under $5 back around 2000.
