When most people think of the Holidays, you probably don’t think of tamales. I once dated a girl who’s family made them every year. I was amazed at all the work that went into them. It’s mainly a Hispanic tradition and being in the heart of LA you have many choices when it comes to your holiday tamales. You can make them yourself out of store bought masa, but why go through all that trouble when you can pick them up on your way. Just make sure to order ahead of time and be prepared to wait in line as you get closer to the 25th. So bring some along to your next gathering with friends, they are sure to be the hit of the party! Here are just a few of the more well known locations in LA.
