We don’t usually care to write about the food at Micky D’s here at Diglounge. But hey, free is free right? Well, this Thursday, May 15th, stop in at McDonald’s for a free Southern Style Crispy Chicken Sandwich with the purchase of a medium or large soda. The sandwich is McDonald’s newest menu item. It’s an all white chicken breast fillet, deep fried in a deep fryer warehouse somewhere in North Dakota. It’s then placed between a pretty boring white bun, then topped with a couple of pickles and liquid margarine. That’s right, they drizzle the bun with margarine. 420 calories, 19 grams of fat and 1090 mg of sodium! I tried one out of curiosity the other day, and it’s pretty plain and boring. Regular price is 2.99. It can be yours for the price of a medium drink.
