The King of New York Pizza that is. Good pizza is hard to find in k-town. Larchmont Village is the closest good pizza place, but I am outside of their one mile delivery radius. (By two blocks.) So it wasn’t very often I had pizza. Unless I had the forethought to call ahead and pick it up on my way home. Never fear, the King has come to save us!
Owners Sal and Johnny come to us straight from the pie capital of the world. Their family owns a small independent chain of pizza joints around New York. Their delicisous offerings of not only pizza, but homemade meatballs, heroes, pasta, garlic knots and salads with dressings made from scratch, shine through in this small k-town strip mall at the corner of 3rd and Western.

I actually haven’t tried the delivery yet, because it’s a nice walk for me, and you can walk in and order a slice and a couple of meatballs while you watch a laker game or Monday Night Football on their flat screen TV. They don’t serve booze, but I’m sure they wouldn’t mind if you brought in your own, as long as you share.
