Happy Hour at RockSugar

Happy Hour at RockSugar

Here’s a great little recession special. Avoid the rush hour for those of you who work near Century City, have to fight traffic from the west to east, or the east to the west side. Free apps and drink specials at RockSugar. This just in the Dig Lounge inbox;

“Happy hour at RockSugar is the perfect stop between East and West to attain serenity now via exotic drinks and appetizers from a faraway land. Every Monday through Friday, RockSugar in Century City serves complimentary passed appetizers in the bar/lounge from 4PM to 6PM. Chicken samosas, Lacquered BBQ Ribs, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Indian Stuffed Flatbreads and Vietnamese Summer Rolls… Exotic cocktails like the Asian Pear Martini Blood Orange Sangria, Saigon Bourbon Smash, Lemongrass Gimlet or Lychee Blossom.”

    I assume that means someone comes out with a tray of apps occasionally. But they don’t just have them out for people to gorge on.

    the complimentary passed only if you sit at the bar. the host knew nothing about this deal. result: happy hour at another spot.

    Sounds like people have a problem with the management, but the decor and ambiance is out of this world! Looks awesome.

    French 75 – Century City (closed, re-opened with hardly any change whatsoever as Savanah which lasted 2-3 months then closed as well; space still boarded up I Think)- started out with the same happy hour routine of passed apps. Which happened once, or maybe twice, during the 2 hour happy hour!
