Music in the Zoo returns to the LA Zoo this year and many of the animals will be up past their bedtimes so you can enjoy the music and zoo creatures without all the regular summer crowds. On July 10th, listen to world music from Masanga Marimba Ensemble (Zimbabwe), Taiko Drummers (Japanese), Greek Odyssey (Greek), Balalaika Rascals (Russian), and Kenny Hudson’s World Beat (African). On July 24th, listen to Jazz and latin music from Coyote Hills Jazz Band, Susie Hansen Latin Band, LPJ Jazz Quartet, and Mariachi Divas. Tickets for zoo members are $12 (kids $7) and non-members prices are $16 (kids $10.) Kids under 5 are free.
