You would think we are already smack dab in the middle of winter with this cold weather and rain. Well, winter officially kicks off on Sunday and we’ve got something that will help warm you up! Pick up some free burgers at Morton’s or enjoy some great deals at El Pollo Inka. Peruvian is the new Thai food ya know. You can even win $100 bucks in a lip-synch contest or cruise the Huntington Harbor of lights with wine in hand.

Dec 19 – El Pollo Inka’s 21st Anniversary

Peruvian is the new Thai food so go and enjoy some cheap Peruvian food in these time of high food prices. El Pollo Inka restaurants are rolling back their prices to 1987 for lunch and dinner for one day only. Prices run from $2.20 for a rotisserie chicken plate, $4.74 for Lomo Saltado, and $5.50 for ceviche. No reservations, first come first serve.
Dec 19 – Gondola Cruise of Lights and Wines

Join Brix Wine as they pour 6 wines while you cruise the Huntington Harbor of lights in a gondola. Bring a jacket (and some cheese and crackers), it’s gonna be chilly night. Tickets are $50 pp and can be purchased here.

Learn how to make a Yule Log at Surfas! Otherwise known as Bouche de Noel, a Yule Log is a centerpiece dessert that will wow your guests. The log will be created and sampled using the luscious new chocolate, Republica del Cacao, with guidance by the Surfas Pastry Chef Clemence Gossett. The demo is free.
