It’s been a great year. We moved Downtown, we’ve had lots of great meals, good wine, and good times with friends and other bloggers. Looking back at our favorites from 2008, there is only one repeat from last year, and that’s Providence. It still reigns supreme as our favorite restaurant in LA with superior service and food.
I managed to hit up a few of my resolutions from last year. The Bazaar, Gordon Ramsey, and I might have found LA’s best burger. I never made it to Cut, so that goes back on the list for this year. Other resolutions for this year include eating out more in the SGV and exploring all the hidden gems that downtown has to offer. This list represents where we ate and drank this past year, it’s probably different than your own list. But here are our favorites from 2009 in no particular order.

I love to eat, so I’m very glad I found your blog! Nickel Diner and Osteria are the places on your list that resonate most with me: I don’t disagree with any of your choices, but I haven’t been to most of them! I think you should add a Best Brunch category. And cupcakes. Thanks for the great blog!
