I have been there twice and each time was better than the last. Maybe you were just unsure of what time it really was because I have closed the place both evenings and I sure didn't get any attitude, although we were asked to finish by the manager/owner. Not an outrageous request considering noncompliance with the ABC can be devistating to a business. Anyway the food was great, not gourmet but just like food I've eaten all my life with Cuban family and friends. Your blog does sound a bit more personal than a review.
