So Cal Sports Observed picked up on this story from the times. Apparently USC kicker Mario Danelo was drunk when he fell to his death January 6th after plunging down a rocky cliff in San Pedro. I’ve had a few friends in my lifetime who seem to think they have superman like powers when they get to drinking to much of the sauce. Which may be the case here, as his friends don’t seem to think he would kill himself. The question remains though, why did he scale the wall to even get as close to the cliff as he did? I don’t know if there is anyway to prove it was or wasn’t accidental unfortunately. Which is too bad for friends and family, I’m sure they want closure on this.
