A weekend of festivals

City Beat, Food, Music

We got two festivals going on this Sunday. The MOCA Grand Avenue Festival is a chance to “experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of the cultural heart of Downtown LA as theaters, concert halls, museums, and other attractions along Grand Avenue.” The festival runs from 11am-5pm and is free. Then on the other side of town is the Abbot Kinney Block Party with “2 stages of live music, dancers and performance artists, a spectacular children’s court, 3 food areas, a Spirit Garden, Green Living Pavilion and over 300 vendors featuring original, handcrafted goods.” The festival runs from 10am-6pm. Not sure if the event is free or not.
