Burger and bacon lovers of LA rejoice. We too have a Slater’s 50/50 to call our very own. With locations in San Diego, Anaheim Hills and Huntington Beach, and now newly opened in Pasadena, Slater’s 50/50 is known for it’s unique blend of half ground beef and ground bacon patties. They use Sterling Silver ground beef, hand selected from the top 12% of choice beef and aged 21 days. Choose from a selection of pre-designed burgers, like the B’ B’ B’ BACON BURGER, a 50/50 patty with bacon American cheese, sunny side up egg, thick cut bacon and bacon island dressing on a bacon pretzel bun.
Other signature burgers include a Peanut Butter & Jellousy, Fritos Crunch Burger, and the 50/50 Burger, with a sunny side up egg, avocado mash, pepper jack cheese and chipotle adobo mayo on white brioche. You can also build your own burger and give it your own name.
The bacony decadence doesn’t end at the burgers, with a selection of Mac & Cheese with a selection of toppings like bacon, jalepenos, buffalo chicken, with toasted Cheez-Its® crust. Don’t plan a trip to see the doctor any time soon. Other dishes include a plate of Fried Chicken and Pancakes, piled high with gravy, bacon, and a sunny side egg.
For the beer lovers, there over 100 beers on tap and a selection of delectable shakes for those with a sweet aversion. There is a great happy hour Mon-Fri from 3-7pm (and every day from 10pm-1am) with 50% off well drinks, house wine and select appetizers and beers. And for the sports fanatics, they’ve got you covered with a TV in view from nearly every seat in the house.
Slater’s 50/50 will definitely be a popular destination in the old town Pasadena neighborhood and goes on our list of favorite burger spots.
