Tillamook’s Loaf Love Tour is back in LA and to celebrate they are partnering with three of their Tillamook Kitchen signature chefs tomorrow, September 27 for an all-day Tillamook Kitchen Takeover. Who doesn’t love a good hunk of cheese? Well, get your cheese on this Thursday at The Grilled Cheese Truck, simplethings sandwich & pie shop and The Oaks Gourmet. Specials are offered at just three bucks!
On your way into work in the morning stop by The Oaks Gourmet for a breakfast burrito (recipe) filled with Tillamook Pepper Jack and Sharp Cheddar, Boar’s Head bacon, green onions and scrambled eggs in a spicy jalapeño tortilla. Then midway through the day, time for a snack at simplethings. Thier Apple and Golden Raisin Pie with Cheddar Crust (recipe) is the perfect afternoon treat. For din din, track down the The Grilled Cheese Truck for a Mom’s Apple Pie Melt (recipe), a delicious dessert grilled cheese filled with brown butter cinnamon apples and Tillamook Special Reserve Extra Sharp Cheddar.
In addition, the Loaf Love Tour VW mini busses will also be stopping by each restaurant during the day on the 27th to hand out free Tillamook goodies and coupons.
