When I saw this post on la.foodblogging I just had to share it with anyone who comes by here. Anyone who knows me, knows where I got the nickname Mattyshack from, so needless to say I am akin to any food place you might refer to as a “shack”.
Anyway, wanted to pass the link to this amazing photogallery along to my readers. Photographer Gerald Panter has spent the past eight years taking photographs of 250 “joints,” “stands” or “shacks” scattered throughout Los Angeles. It makes me want to follow the same journey he took. Except my goal wouldn’t be to take pictures, but to consume every meal of the day at one of these places. Take a look!
