Next Door Lounge and the new menu from Food Network Star Nikki Martin

 
As if they needed it, LA Weekly’s Best Speakeasy in Los Angeles got a little food makeover while you weren’t looking. The completely revamped menu from Food Network Star Nikki Martin makes The Next Door Lounge all that much better. Not only that, the cocktail menu got a Summer refresh from head barman Zac Henry that uses the lounge’s very own barrel-aged spirits. The cocktails consist of Next Door’s barrel-aged GIN and RUM bringing their current barrel-aged inventory to five different spirits; including scotch, bourbon, rye, gin, and rum!

Chef Nikki Martin has upped the speakeasy grub game, incorporating the oh-so-trendy flavors of the Gatsby era. Grab s small bite off the “The Bee’s Knees” part of the menu for the perfect bar snack. Like the headless Horsemen, dates stuffed with feta and wrapped with bacon. Or the Dirty lil’ Deviled Eggs infused with Vodka, Green Olives, and Herbs.

Meat lovers rejoice with their a very good burger. Made with 100% Grass Fed Beef, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Bulliet Bourbon, Onion Confit, Roast Garlic Aioli, on a buttery Brioche bun. If your feeling like eating your greens try the cheesy Brussel Sprout Gratin or the delicious Fire Roasted Artichoke. A selection of flat breads rounds out the menu. Grab one of their new barrel aged cocktails in the dimly lit venue featuring several intimate vignettes donned with leather couches, high-back chairs, and antiqued cocktail tables that create a comfortable setting for foodies and cocktail lovers. Larger groups of revelers enjoy libations and delectable bites at the two communal dining tables.
