On August 17th, bring on the booze, food trucks, casino games, music and dancing. Doesn’t sound like something the LAPD would get behind right? Well for just this one night they will look the other way, while you drink, eat, and play casino style games at the Eagle and Badge Foundation 2012 Summerfest. Taking place at the Elysian Park Academy, near Dodger stadium, the night will feature drinks by Eagle Rock, Golden Road and Angel City Brewery, Maker’s Mark Bourbon, RumChata, Blue Ice American Vodka, Cielo Malibu Estate Wineyards, Woodstock Collection Fine Wines, and much more.
Food trucks on hand include Flat Iron Truck, Slammin’ Sliders, Surfer Taco and Sweet Wheels Dessert Truck.
Proceeds form the night go to the The Eagle and Badge Foundation, which provides benefits to the families of L.A. police officers and the children in the communities they serve. Tickets for non-LAPD are $100/individual or $150/couple. This includes the wine sprits and brew tasting PLUS $100 in casino chips, which can be used to win prizes.
