The LA Wine Fest returns to Raleigh Studios for it’s 7th yearly event this Saturday and Sunday, June 9 and 10. They’ve lined up 350 global vendors to pour more than 500 wines, craft brews and artisanal spirits at this year’s event. The largest educational wine tasting event in Los Angeles, selections include wines from Slovenia to Chile, plus the chance to attend a variety of classes offering an in-depth look at various regions and libations. Tasting seminars on cheese pairings, international wines, spirits and cooking demos will be offered both Saturday and Sunday. Classes include “Will Cook for Sex” with chef and author Rocky Fino, the Good Time Gourmet, “Dry Creek Valley: A Century of Great Zin,” featuring an all-star lineup of top Zinfandels, and a Cheese & Wine Pairing with The Cheese Impressario Barrie Lynn and Malibu winery-owner George Rosenthal of Rosenthal Wines.
Of course what event would be complete without some gourmet Food trucks? In attendance providing bites to pair with the wines (at an additional cost) include The Bun Truck, Crispy Waffles & Frite, Dogtown Dogs, M.O. Eggrolls Truck, No Tomatoes!, Slammin’ Sliders, The Surfer Taco and more. Tickets for general admission start at just $75 person ($139 a couple). Classes start at $30.
