Top foodie festival Taste of the Nation returns

It’s been one of our favorite foodie events in the past. Taste of the Nation returns on June 1, 2014 to Culver City’s Media Park. We’re forecasting beautiful weather & sunshine and over 50 different restaurants & chefs from all over Los Angeles. Some of the restaurants confirmed for this year’s event include 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, Border Grill Restaurants, Chaya/M Café, Church & State, Cliff’s Edge, FIG Restaurant, Girasol, Loteria Grill, Mud Hen, Plan Check, Roadhouse, Superba Snack Bar, and Valerie Confections, as well as El Segundo Brewery and The Bruery. So bring a hefty appetite.

Of course cocktails by the city’s top mixologists, wine, and locally-crafted beer will be available to sip between delicious bites. Along with a live and silent auctions to spend your money on, so bring your check book. All proceeds benefit the wonderful organizations, including the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, California Food Policy Advocates, and No Kid Hungry Los Angeles.

The event takes place from 1-4pm. Tickets are $110. VIP entry gets you in 30 min early and will cost you an extra $50. It’s really worth it for those who like to avoid crowds. Not to mention it also gets you access to the Princess Cruises VIP lounge, a swag bag, valet parking, cocktails and bites from Josiah Citrin. Kids tickets are available for $25. But really, just call the babysitter. Mommy and Daddy need their alone time.
