Morningstar & Sanguinetti Pop-up at Santa Anita for Preakness

The Chandelier Room at the Santa Anita Racetrack is class and sophistication re-mastered at the historical SGV racing spot. We first got a tour the space before it’s launch last year and it is truly an amazing transformation that has taken place at the decades old race track.

It’s a space usually reserved for members only. But you are invited to cheer on home state hero California Chrome from Santa Anita’s stunning private Chandelier Room as he takes on the competition at the annual Preakness Stakes race in Baltimore, Maryland. While the Kentucky Derby winner angles to chase down another victory, guests will enjoy a menu of passed plates curated by Chefs Christian Page & Kris Morningstar (Ray’s & Stark Bar) as part of the Chandelier Room’s new guest chef series. Bites will be complemented with cocktails from Paul Sanguinetti, also of Ray’s & Stark Bar fame.

Tickets for the main event on Saturday are $150 per person, which includes free valet and the ultra exclusive party, passed apps and cocktails. If that’s a little out of your price range. Consider going on Friday night for some twilight racing. Get all the same perks, without the live race from Baltimore. Tickets are just $75 for two people on Friday evening.
