Chef Jimmy Shaw at Loteria Grill brings that same concept with his own version of “Taco Tuesday.” Deemed, Taco About Tuesday, it’s inspired by those gatherings he went to in Mexico. Getting together with family and friends over big plates of delicious braised meats, local produce and, of course, fresh corn tortillas.
Served family style, these dishes reflect Chef Shaw’s passionate and authentic cooking, inspired by the local kitchens of Mexico. Bite into comfort with the Queso Panela Empanizado; A breaded chunk of panela cheese served with salsa verde, crispy tortilla strips and pico del gallo. Or the Alambre de Puntas de Filete; Seared steak tips with grilled onion, chile poblano, mushrooms, melted jack cheese and salsa of chile manzano.
Each dish makes 6-8 small tacos and includes fresh garnishes and hand made flour tortillas available at all Loteria locations, all day Tuesday. We know you’re hungry for some tacos.
