Finding a better burger at Magnolia

Magnolia has long been a favorite restaurant. It’s simple, comfort food menu is the perfect answer when you can’t decide where to eat. Their new menu, released this last week, features more seasonal market driven menu items. New items like a beet and avocado salad, burrata and tomato, or slow roasted vegetables with a red-wine vinaigrette, are the perfect starter for the pan seared red snapper or homemade roast beef sandwich.

The have a few new sandwiches and entrees too. Even the burger gets an upgrade here, with Estancia Farms grass fed beef, butter lettuce, and oven roasted tomatoes; it’s perfectly charred, juicy with a flavorful seasoning. With plenty of vegetarian and meat eater options, their crowd pleasing menu makes it the perfect stop before, or after, a night out on the town.

Awww…I really liked the simplicity of their original burger. Oven roasted tomatoes? Estancia farm beef? Even the bun looks more fancified. I guess I should try it for myself…but I’m worried…
