Spring St opens in downtown

Open just shy of a week, Spring St is now serving beer and wine to residents of the arts district, and downtown LA. Opened by Michael Leko and Will Shamlian co-owners of Library Bar just a few blocks away, the bar features 26 taps, all domestic brews, along with a handful of wines. The former 626 Reserve wine bar space has been transformed with a sleek interior, wood and concrete finishes, exposed light bulbs, and subway tiles; with beers like Firestone Hemp Brown, Racer 5, Fox, and Lost Coast all for around five bucks. A full liquor license is just a couple of weeks away with food being served starting today. The small menu will feature charcuterie, cheese and sandwiches.

The cozy bar will be a local favorite with downtown residents.

The 26 taps at Spring St.

Enjoy a little charcuterie and cheese with your beer.

Full liquor license coming soon, too bad, we kind of like it with just beer and wine.
