We can raise our glass to this. The people who brought you DineLA Restaurant Week are now promoting the best time of the day with a new Happy Hour Week. You know, that hour or two between leaving work early and getting home at a decent hour. That’s when we 9-5 juggernauts get our party on.
New bars, breweries and past Restaurant Week participants will be invited to take part in the program, as well as those that don’t currently offer a happy hour program but are eager to design new menus especially for the event. The result: an extensive lineup of food and drink experiences that fall within two categories – afternoon/evening and late-night – that Angelenos and destination diners will be able to take advantage of during the program. Unlike Restaurant Week, participating restaurants and bars will not be required to create a fixed price menu that falls into a specific price point; however, each will offer a selection of both bar bites and sips on their Happy Hour Week menu.
The most exciting thing about this new program is your favorite DineLA restaurants who don’t usually offer Happy Hour food and drink specials, will be doing so for just this one week. Details on the who, what, when, and where will be released in the coming weeks.
