Spend an afternoon in the Test Kitchen at Surfas in Culver City with Jerry as he shares from his years of research and trial and error and leads the class through the process of making the perfect French Country loaf.
In this four hour class Jerry explains the processes from the handling & shaping of the fragile dough to turning your home oven into a hearth oven complete with steam injection to produce great crusts. As the dough rests, enjoy a beer and cheese tasting in the company fellow bread and food lovers. Student will leave with instructions, recipes and their own portion of Jerry’s sourdough starter.
