Kogi Truck appearence at The Doheny

If you haven’t been able to track down the Kogi Korean BBQ truck yet, and have wanted to check out The Doheny, then this is the perfect night for you. For this one night only you can grab a Korean Avacado Tostada and have a drink at the ultra cool, invitation only, Doheny Club.

On January 26, the Kogi truck will be serving up their special Korean goodness in the Doheny parking lot on the corner of Flower and Olympic from 9:30pm – 12am. The first 20 people to rsvp to SORRY LIST IS CLOSED! will be invited, along with a guest, to an hour and a half long private menu with the truck and entrance to the otherwise invitation only Doheny Club. Imagine chowing down on a short-rib taco and pairing it with a hand crafted cocktail made by one of Doheny’s excellent libation experts.

Usual disclaimer stuff. You must be 21+ to make reservations at The Doheny. You have to pay your own way with the food and cocktails, but that’s a small price to pay for this one time chance to check out the Doheny and grub on some tasty Korean BBQ. Please only RSVP if you really can make it. The list is only open to 20 people and their guests. We’ll try and update this story as soon as the list in closed.

Kogi is often the staff meal at Doheny, unfortunately it means being short a manager, barback or bartender for at least an hour while they wait in line. Now we can get our fix and not be shorthanded!! Good for everyone.

Great seeing you yesterday over there — glad to have a shortened Kogi wait and finally try their stuff. My friend and I bounced out of Doheny pretty quick in favor of 7 Grand (which was surprisingly pretty packed too, then again — Mon. is their Live Jazz & all-day-happy-hour)

Yes, good to see you too HC. the Passionate Seoul with Jinro Soju, Licor 43, Passion Fruit, Orgeat Syrup, Lemon and Muscat Grape was my favorite! The Aloe Cocktail wasn’t bad either.

The short rib slider and pork burrito from Kogi were excellent too.

What an awesome night of food and cocktails!

I loved the Ginger Margarita — too bad I had already eaten the spicy pork taco by then, thought that would be a great pairing.
